QUOTE THIS WEEK

Cain Accused of Sexual Harrassment

"Have you ever been accused, sir, in your life of harassment by a woman?"

"He breathed audibly, glared at the reporter and stayed silent for several seconds. After the question was repeated three times, he responded by asking the reporter, 'Have you ever been accused of sexual harassment?'"

-- Herman Cain, responding to a question by Politico, in a
story that broke last night.

Well . . . he had a shortie run.

Well Vic, I guess Cain's aids did not brief him all that well on all possible issues...  I guess it would not be that funny if I said, "Cain got caught with his pants down."  But, we really need to have a Presidential hopeful that thinks quick, thinks fast on one's feet, and knows how to make up the bed when he is finished.  I heard Bill Clinton is going to be offering some inexpensive webinars the first of next year.

Seriously, I guess the lesser of the evils is dwindling, leaving Obama a good shot at re-election.  Not sure I like that but it is what it is.  I just wish that the two parties would put politics aside and make some decisions that will take this country forward.

Just as there should be a separation between church and state so too should there be a separation between state and sex.

Cain is a piece of work. Is it just me, or the more controversial you can make yourself translates to how popular you are? I think Geraldo-style TV has now morfed into our political spectrum.

I have seen sexual harassment in the work place and I can tell you those who participate are nothing more than low life scumballs whose business judgements were on the same level. If I am a CEO: "You are outta here."

Cain should have made sure that his closet was clean before working on his 9 - 9 - 9 plan. It took me a long time to read it.

On the other side of the coin, maybe it is "dirty tricks" but the other Republicans??? It has happened before....

On the other side of the coin, maybe it was mutual and now this lady thinks she can get some coin if she blows the whistle... of course, no pun intended.

What is with our country's choices for Presidential candidates? This is not reality TV or Hollywood, where the most controversial figure is the most popular. Or is it? What have we become? I have never seen a more sorry bunch of clowns that we find favor with. What ever happened to true leaders??

The nation turned down Ralph Nader. Why do you think they would do that if, in fact, they wanted someone to rule Wall Street with an iron fist? I voted for Ralph, thought it my civic duty, or calling, to vote for a person who could have made billions but worked "for the people".
