THE MOST HATED DECISION OF THE COURT

“corporations have no consciences, no beliefs, no feelings, no thoughts and no desires”
Justice Stevens in his dissenting view

By Victor M Adamus

So this is what it’s come to.  A Supreme Court Decision in 2010 that opened the doors to unlimited campaign donations, billions of dollars to unseat a President, billions to keep the President we have.  Billions that could fix the broken bridges and roads in pothole America is leading the nation down the road to a third world type environment for its’ citizens.  But the impact of this decision also opens the floodgates for foreign investors to donate huge sums of money, buy a few Senate seats, the Congress, in favor of legislation that might close down TSA at airports so their jihad members can get another shot at hijacking a U.S Airliner.  Yes, under 501 c (4) the person with the loot does not have to disclose who he or she is.

A mighty mistake in the making that will come back to haunt the future of our children.  And the 5 Justices led by Chief Justice Roberts sealed the deal.

This decision trampled on all the campaign finance laws, stunned Democracy advocates including President Barack Obama, and effectively granted First Amendment Rights of free speech normally reserved for people of the United States to a piece of paper called “the Articles of Incorporation”.

Corporations are not people.  But the five high holies, operating from a Republican playbook, with little factual evidence of Constitutional Law, gave their party what it wanted.  They legislated from the bench which is a treasonous risk and one that law students will study for the next 50 years unless a legitimate Congress comes along to change it.  How and when is anyone’s guess since the conservatives hold the majority in Congress and will do anything to unseat the President this November.  It's a pathetic situation.

Reversing this decision would require a Constitutional Amendment because there is nothing in the current document that supports a piece of paper.  Maybe George W Bush was right when he said the Constitution itself is “just a piece of paper”.  Coming from a sitting President who appointed the conservatives on the court, no doubt he knew what his party and the Koch Brothers were wishing for and it was just a few steps down the road.

Corporations, even Foreign governments, can now buy any politician, judge, or local clerk running for office.  They can control everything including the country’s finances, legislation, wages, health care, you name it, it can soon be corporate owned or foreign owned.

It’s all boots on the ground now.  Voters throwing out the conservatives and working with patriotic Americans to reverse this decision.  USE IT OR LOSE IT.

It’s come down to that and I’m betting, unfortunately, the big money people win.
