Former FBI Director Louis Freeh, commissioned by Penn State to investigate the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal, said Tuesday he will issue his report Thursday.

Centre Daily Times reported Freeh said he will post his findings online at 9 a.m. EDT and hold a news conference an hour later in Philadelphia.

"We look forward to seeing the report on Thursday and reviewing Judge Freeh's recommendations," Penn State spokesman David La Torre said. "The university will provide a response in Scranton on Thursday at a time and location to be announced."

Editorial Comment:  Who in their “right minds” would ever look forward to seeing and reviewing such a damaging report like that?

When the report was issued on Thursday, it was an unexpected (really?) "touchback"  in their own end zone.
