Friends with Benefits

I am a liberal American with conservative fiscal responsibilities and a non-aggressive personality with “First Blood” instincts.  I am a Veteran, well-educated (but not wealthy) and have worked in the business marketplace for over 40 years.  My faith, wife and family, and friends have been instrumental to my success, even though I may measure success differently than you.  I have lived outside the United States for several years and have a fairly good understanding of the importance of cultural diversity, albeit early in my development.  I believe in the equality of all males and females, and that we should help those who cannot help themselves or teach them to help themselves.

There are 12 major religions (and/or philosophies) in the world today and ALL of them should not just be acknowledge but should be respectfully tolerated as well as their cultures and customs.  There are also different forms of government in the world today, some of which are in direct opposition to Democracy and its freedoms, but which have an “unalienable right” to exist and co-exist with all other forms of government, and that these governments should not “FORCE” their form of government on anyone else unless a majority of the people so desire without being coerced.

I believe that the world collectively should not tolerate the killing and/or imprisoning of males, females, or children simply because they do not agree with the ruling party, unless their culture and customs dictate otherwise.

I believe that the world collectively needs to JOIN FORCES to deal with:

  1. World Famine & Water Shortages
  2. Infant mortality & Disease
  3. Equal Rights & Women’s Rights
  4. Global Warming & Damage Done
  5. Global Education & Innovation
  6. Control of Population & Resources
  7. Global Infrastructure & Space Exploration
  8. Global Science & Technology
  9. Global Healthcare & Prevention
  10. Global Cybercrime, Drugs, & Pornography

But, for some reason and despite global differences, the inhabitants of the world do have one issue in common and that is a “LAST MAN STANDING” mentality which revolves around both commerce and militaristic aggression; ODD how this is the same in any language…

Yet, the human body is the same as is our birth and our death and without the help of anyone else none of which do we control, also curious that we share that in common.  So, despite our differences we have much more important things in common and is that what pisses us all off?

We also have our origins in common regardless of our creation myths, because something or someone greater than the sum of our individual parts gave us all life, albeit briefly.  Therefore, we share our creator; so, why is it not in our capacity to share more?

I was just WONDERING…
