One must understand but wonder why a mistake in burning the Koran in Afghanistan last week brought four U.S. soldiers to their death when the Armed Forces said the books had been defaced by inmates sharing codes and had to be destroyed. The intellect of the Arab people went on trial. They chose their old stand-by “Death to America”. It’s a hot bed of opinions here in the states, not one talking head has dodged giving it air time.
As rumors go, the radical Republicans want President Obama to do more than just apologize. From what I saw, so far, this weekend: We should put the Mullah on the list of terrorists, a jihadist, since he told his flock to kill American soldiers; We should remove all U.S. troops out of harms way and let them shoot their way through the cities to the airports taking out as many civilians as they can; We should have weekly burnings of the Koran in this country until the OPEC brings down the price of oil to $2.50 at the pump; here’s a new one: We should tax all Islamic Mosques in the U.S. to offset the price of oil. If they can’t pay, shut them down and deport their leadership back to Syria or Saudi Arabia.
Bombing Iran hasn’t come up yet. But Republicans MUST find someone to blame and poor Saddam Hussein is already dead.

esp.on what the crackpots think, then we trying to find an enemy, usually in the political party we do not agree with.

All things happen for a reason and my personal opinion on the reason for this happening is because of the deep cultural differences between the US and Afghanistan. We are ignorent about them as much as they are of us. One thing for sure, and that is that the deep feeling in most Afghan's hearts is that we have no business there. This incident just brought out that mistrust.
