Finally Mitt Romney Does Something Presidential

It's gotta be the biggest upcoming clown show in town.  Fed to the nation almost weekly the Republican Debates have deteriorated to now a Donald Trump hosting a debate, one that Rush Limbaugh says is even steven because all the other debates are getting questions from the main stream media which Rush says is too liberal.  He sees the Donald as hosting the debate from a conservative standpoint, even though the Donald has hinted he may run as an independent if no one comes forward who can beat Obama in 2012.


Doesn't this sound like kids stuff?


Karl Rove is jumping in for damage control, charging the Donald with being a "birther" and there would only be points scored on his side and not the candidates that have held together over the past few months; losing one candidate to womanizing; another dropped out reading his low points in the polls; and who would benefit from this clown show of candidates facing off against a possible independent candidate?  Or does anyone at this point care?  Afterall it's being played out over Christmas which most families have better things to do than watch a group of losers debate if George Bush is an evil person or not.  No doubt those type of questions will come up especially since Newt Gingrich is the now front runner or flavor of the month.


Well Mitt Romney sees it for what it is---a clown show.  He will not participate.  In the meantime Newt has appointed himself publicly as the next Republican Presidential Nominee.  It doesn't get anymore clownish than that folks.


I agree for the first time with Greta Van Susteren when she called it a Trump Publicity Stunt; bring in the clowns; go for the sound bites; and who is even going to be around to watch it?

Good that you canceled this debacle Mr Romney.  It's the first thing you've done that is truly Presidential.
