By Victor M AdamusI was wondering about these massive charges against Mitt Romney, calling him a Vulture Capitalist, a corporate raider, banker who makes huge profits off the backs of the middle income workers. As Newt Gingrich said he had a choice to do what people from wealth can choose to do in life and his choice “although legal, was not the right thing to do”. Why?
People have been robbing other people legally for centuries and most of the huge gains by these banksters were legal based on loose regulations and the high risks they take plus convincing the government (your tax dollars) to contribute to the so called swindle. This country is a mess in Wall Street greed. So why would you not find a person like Mitt Romney, who made millions as a robber baron, run for President? He has an interest in changing the rules to improve the hedge fund operators, the wealthy, and his own Bain Capital from any restrictions in how they make money. It’s all about profits and should we envy them, like Mitt says, or should we deny them access to shrinking the middle income sector and make millions of people’s lives miserable? Just because it’s legal, is it the right thing to do?
That’s a question I’ll be wondering about this weekend and you may hear more from me as I collect more disturbing facts.
