WHAT THEY BELIEVE

ST PETERSBURG, FL
Bill Keller, the world's leading Internet Evangelist and the founder of LivePrayer.com, with over 2.4 million subscribers worldwide reading the daily devotional he has written every morning for 12 years on the issues of the day from a Biblical worldview, says it is necessary today with the vast majority of the last two generations having never been to church, and with most of those who do being Biblically illiterate, to educate people on what Mitt Romney and Mormons really believe about African-Americans, God, Jesus, the Bible, and Biblical Christians.  Read more

Businessmen wear blue tie to imply honest . . .

So, is there a problem here, I wonder?  Or, is it a smoke screen like so oftentimes is the case, to pull the American public away from the heart of the issue which in this case is BIG BUSINESS.  Even though this article about what is Mormons believe is 4 months old, I am sure most of their tenants have changed very little, if any.

Romney is and will always be a Republican and consequently a conservative; and, while he was never as conservative as Rick Santorum, he is conservative nonetheless, regardless of his religious ideological beliefs.  So, let’s stay focused on the issues:

Conservatives Believe:

  • In a small government and in a reduction of governmental expenditures.  Interestingly, Republicans will tell you that they want  a balanced budget but in reality, their ideal scenario is for the government, like their businesses, to generate a profit.

  • In a low tax base for wealthy individuals, families and for their businesses.  It is their opinion that only the wealthy can invest in commercial enterprise and if business is going to be competitive both domestically and internationally, they must be free of governmental restrictions and interferences.

  • In the bond and sanctity of the male/female marriage, and in a right to life just as strongly as they believe in their right to own and carry concealed handguns for the sole purpose of protecting one’s castle and in one’s ability to stand one’s ground.

So, the next time you read an article about Romney’s Mormon faith do not let his un-Christian beliefs tear you away from his conservative beliefs as to how America should be managed and guided.
