Now, this is something that I would pay money to see . . . of course, if you believe that then I have a mortgage deal that you cannot resist; but, if you think you can resist that, then I have some junk bonds that I would like to sell you . . . and on and on and on . . . America's free market enterprise system at work.
Actually a mud run is a breath of fresh air, considering all the political mumbo jumbo that has been tossed out at us these last few weeks.
Romney tells us how incompetent the present administration is when it comes to the economy and creating jobs and the media tells us how incompetent Romney campaign is because of the recent SNAFU statement out of Romney's mouth regarding the 47% of the population who do not pay taxes.
Romney says that it is up to the sitting president to create jobs and all of our reputable economists on both sides of the aisle says that is not true at all.
Big Money puts their big money where their big mouths are by contributing to Super PACS that in turn takes those dollars and purchases advertisements that make false or less than true claims. Yet, I would be willing to bet that those wealthy doners attend Church regularly and raise their children not to lie.
So yes, a mud run is something new....
But, let's get serious, shall we?
Will this election be really any different than any other election, aside from the fact that we will either elect a Republican or Democratic President, since we cannot have both?
- The Fat Cats will still run Washington...
- Big Business will still do what it wants to do...
- Athletes, Musicians, and Movie Stars will still get paid millions to entertain us...
- Americans will still purchase more illegal drugs than any other country in the world...
- Our divorce rate will continue to remain at 50%...
- Our education system will still lack the STEM skills it needs to teach...
- The middle class will continue to suffer while the % of those in the poverty zone will increase...
- And I will continue to express my view and write what I want.
Funny how life never seems to change much at all and wealth shows no prejudices.
