As the situation in North Korea continues to grow more perilous, one American plans to return to the country: Dennis Rodman.
The former basketball player visited the country in February — a trip that wasn’t backed by the U.S. government and kicked up criticism — and he tells GossipExtra.com that he’s returning in August.
“We have no plans really, as far as what we’re going to do over there, but we’ll just hang and have some fun!” said Rodman. The Herald asked Rodman for his take on Kim Jong Un’s threatening war rhetoric, but he said he wasn’t worried about it.
“The Russians were way out there, and they were acting on their threats,” Rodman added. “He just wants to be loved. He just wants to sit down and talk. That’s all.”
Rodman also said he’d like to talk with President Barack Obama before his departure, but won’t hold his breath. Read more:
