A New Global Equilibrium

The United Nations (UN) is an intergovernmental organization established 24 October 1945 to promote international co-operation. A replacement for the ineffective League of Nations, the organization was created following the Second World War to prevent another such conflict.

193 Nations out of 196 possible nations belong to the UN at the end of 2014.

Now, Therefore THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY proclaims THIS UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations, to the end that every individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for these rights and freedoms and by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance, both among the peoples of Member States themselves and among the peoples of territories under their jurisdiction.

There have been 2 resolutions passed by the General Assembly of the United Nations on Religious Freedom.

1981 Resolution
TITLE: Resolution Adopted By The General Assembly. 36/55.
Declaration On The Elimination Of All Forms Of Intolerance And Of Discrimination Based On Religion Or Belief

1993 Resolution
TITLE: Resolution Adopted By The General Assembly. 48/128.
ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE

According to some estimates, there are roughly 4,200 religions in the world. The word religion is sometimes used interchangeably with "faith" or "belief system", but religion differs from private belief in that it has a public aspect; however, there are only 12 MAJOR Religions, which are:
  1. Bahai
  2. Buddhism
  3. Christianity
  4. Confucianism
  5. Hinduism
  6. Islam
  7. Jainism
  8. Judaism
  9. Shinto
  10. Sikhism
  11. Taoism
  12. Zoroastrianism

What we also have to understand and accept is that no all of these religions have a belief in a Creator, nor do some of these religions have beliefs in a heaven or a hell and that is OK... and, we should all be willing to accept that as being ok... because, we all DO NOT have to always share the same beliefs... but, what we DO have to do, is let everyone believe the way that they want to believe as long as that belief does not do harm to others... since we all have a fundamental right to live and survive and propagate our species.

Now, we also have to consider that those who do not believe in any type of creator at all.. well, I would say, whether they want to hear it or not, that this is a religious belief as well which also would need to be protected by the UN.

And yet... there are some of us that refuse to accept that UNIVERSAL FREEDOM.

The world population is over 7 billion and growing. And, if we look at all continental land area, including islands but excluding Antarctica, then our global population density is 130 people for every square mile. A square mile is equal to 640 acres, so we have almost 5 acres for every man, woman, and child in the world.

However, while this acreage does not include water, it does include places on the earth that are completely to almost completely uninhabitable like the Sahara Desert or Siberia, Rain Forests, Mountain Ranges, Forests, and National Parks.

Also not included is the acreage, is the land used for airports and military bases and buildings used by business and industry to manufacture products.

Also not included is the acreage, is the land needed and used to grow our sustainable food or cotton for clothes.

While population density varies substantially in every area of the world, a global average would not do us much good actually, so let me share with you how global population can vary per acre of liveable space...

235 per square mile or 640 acres to 7300 per square mile or 640 acres which translates into 2.7 acres per person to 0.09 acres per person... and, there are all kinds of variations of acres/person in between those 2 extremes.

Therefore, it does not take a brain surgeon to see that we are running out of liveable space...

And yet, despite the efforts of reasonable people all over the globe and despite the efforts of the United Nations, there are still people and there are still countries that protect these people, who believe that it is their sworn duty to rid the world through killing and extermination of all those that do not believe as they believe...

For me... that is just STUPID... Stupid... stupid...

So, tell me if you can... and, if you can... explain it to me as if I am in 3rd grade so you will have to break it down into very simple chunks of knowledge that I will be able to understand, why WE as members of a UNIVERAL HUMAN RACE will allow this type of action to take place, even after we have agreed to participate in solidarity and accept the conditions of human life as set forth in our United Nations declarations?

Yes... I must be incredibly naïve... but, not that innocent and not that unintelligent to see that this is wrong!!!

And, why then, do we continue to dress in silk clothes and continue to sit atop our Arabian Stallions and continue to smile to the Paparazzi cameras that we are a CIVILIZED people with CIVILIZED ways and CIVILIZED codes of conduct that are applicable universally....

For some reason, and I am not talking about our leaders, but about the general population of the various global countries, we only want to be seen or perceived as if we give a damn about all of this which is why we have all the really nice and sweet social media sites, but none of us, actually or really want to do anything about it... and, we have to be perceived as giving a damn, otherwise we would not be able to grow our networks by increasing connections.

I could die tomorrow in some tragic accident but I probably will not; instead, I will probably live for another 20 years or so (which includes less as well as more) so I will live to see my prediction either take place or not take place but if it does take place, I will not have to live with its consequences as you will have to....

All our our countries or our World as we know it today will not get what it desires but it will get what it deserves... as a result of its universal hypocrisy...

More and more of the worlds inhabitants will become educated and gradually pull away from their spiritual beliefs as they understand more about science and physics.

An unregulated birth rate on a global scale will cause our resources to be spread so thin that it will seriously jeopardize our global survival.

Terrorist groups will grow globally and financially that it becomes a force that can never be contained or eliminated and mutually assured destruction will no longer be able to maintain a relatively neutral global balance any military points-of-view.

A global super wealthy class will not just supersede governments but will include those who achieved their wealth through drugs, porn, and terrorism along with all the other ways that presently exist today.

A global middle class will emerge quite inconspicuously pulling the American Middle Class down to a new global equilibrium that has already passed the point of no return

WHY/HOW... is this possible?

Because we have unconsciously but collectively become a global group of people who talk but take no action.... and, the changes that I say are on the horizon are coming because they are the obvious results of those who are taking action today as well as talking...

Have you ever thought about yourself any of these questions:
  1. Is my quality of life better/worse than my parents?
  2. Why is the US ranked 14th in Education globally?
  3. Why is China's economy larger than the US?
  4. Why does China own 1/3 of our debt?
  5. Why can the US not stop illegal drug?
  6. Why can the US not stop terrorism?
  7. Why does the US have a problem with obesity?
  8. Why does the US have a 50% divorce rate?
  9. Why are members of the House/Senate all millionaires?
  10. Why have we made such little improvement on equality?
  11. Why do so many American companies outsource?
  12. Why are most American call centers in India?
  13. Why is the cost of Health Insurance so high?
  14. Why does it cost so much for healthcare in the US?
  15. Why are we beginning to see more and more domestic terrorism?
  16. Why can the US not stop cyber crime?
  17. Why do we glorify the lives of celebrities?
  18. Why is no one in jail for the financial meltdown of 2008?
  19. Why is OPEC investing so much money into alternative energy sources and the US is not?
  20. Why will 73 or the 75 most populated cities in 2025 be in Southeast Asia?

I sure there are many, many more questions over which we can ponder while drink our flavored coffees and teas... but, inaction is still inaction... is it not? And, right now, we seem to be more obsessed with talking than with action.

I mean... statistically speaking, it is probably not a large enough sample, but just take a looksee as to what happens on Linkedin from one day to the next. We just love to post pretty pictures and clever sayings about staying positive... but steer clear of anything controversial in which we may have to take a stand.... unless it it having to do with protecting our manliness... or, defending why we purchased a lottery ticket.

Can I get an “Amen Brother” from someone here?
