About time we need to take care of our own and invest in our future, vs. chasing boggie men all over the world. We are a country motivated by fear vs. reason. And no wonder because politicians of all parties feed off fear and rarely use reason.
Heard a young man on Thom Hartman the other day, telling his story. He graduated with a degree in environmental science ( he can kiss that goodbye thanks to the wingnuts) owes 90k in student loans, lives in his car, and is working two jobs to try to pay down his debt. What the hell is wrong with that picture, especially when other countries pay for all higher education for their citizens!
