I will write more about Christian Colleges later, but suffice it to say, that it is nice to be at a place where my faith at work is allowed to flourish. I also wrote the below poem and shared it with the Provost the next day.
In front of students we position ourselves
like Solomon's Temple - words of wisdomflow easily - retained and recited;
Christ-based learning is transferred.
Living water in plain challises drink
Questioning the world in which we live.Cornerstones of careers lay before us,
good mentors, adding value, we have becomeand… in our humility, send- off theseguiding lights
into a world of pre-determined realitieson

I'm sorry I can't be as enthusiastic. anything "christian" leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Especially the so-called "christian" half way houses for young girls and boys, where they are beaten, tortured and starved into submission! Allahu akbar is what I say!
Measuring all against a few is still wrong but understable because that is what we do these day.
