Senator Chuck Grassley (R), the longtime government worker and in some circles "distinguished" gray hair put out a tweet calling President Barack Obama "stupid". This is coming from a person who has spent 52 years, almost all his life, sucking on the taxpayer's tit. Grassley at 79 is an embarrassment to his party and voters he represents in Iowa. His dementia is showing and like most of his elder colleagues, Orrin Hatch included, their time has come to step aside.
Grassley plans to die with his boots on but Iowans aren't so sure the old coot has enough gray matter to make it through another term in office. He would be better off tending to his farming hobbies, puttering in a flower bed, or giving an occasional lecture on exotic birds.
Charles Ernest "Chuck" Grassley (born September 17, 1933) is the senior United States Senator from Iowa, serving since 1981. A member of Republican Party, he previously served in the served in the United States House of Representatives (1975–1981) and the Iowa state legislature (1959–1974). He was chairman of the Senate Finance Committee from January to June 2001 and from January 2003 to December 2006. He is currently the ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee.
