Voters in North Carolina joined 31 other states in banning same sex
marriage. Renown Evangelist Billy Graham
joined the faithful by telling them to vote “Yes” on the State Constitutional
Amendment which drew nationwide attention.
Even Vice President Joe Biden jumped in saying he was “absolutely
comfortable” with gay marriage. But it
came down to those who could reproduce an offspring verses those who couldn’t.
Some supporters, like Bill Clinton, said a Yes Vote would
drive small businesses to other states.
In a phone recorded message he urged voters to vote against the
Amendment.
More people cast votes than in the 2008 Presidential Election,
according to the Civitas Institute. “Procreation
is impossible without a man and a woman”, said one of the faithful.
