Global Leadership: An Oxymoron

Most of us have either witnessed first hand or watched news reports or read tweets regarding the horrors of wars and the thousands of innocent lives that are lost each year as a result of those wars

Most of us have seen or have somehow become aware of civil wars that develop into regional wars and are aware of all the horrors of those wars and the thousands of innocent lives lost each as a result of those wars.

Many of us who happen to be fathers and mothers do not want to put our children (male or female) that might result in their deaths either directly or indirectly as a result of these wars.

And yet, those of us who weep the loudest over the loss of our children are the one who speak the loudest as well about seeking revenge shortly after their children our buried.

Still, all our global politicians, all our global economists, all our global military men and women, all our global college and university professors, all our global business moguls, and all our religious priests and ministers, Cardinals, and Pope PREACH that war is not good and that war must end and how precious life really is, and many other platitudes...

BUT, nothing ever changes and nothing will ever change, and maybe nothing will ever change... and, the reason why nothing ever changes is because we have no TRUE LEADERSHIP anywhere at all and no doubt, we will never have any leadership; although, there are plenty of people who call themselves leaders and there are plenty of people who claim to know leaders....

And, if this is the case... and, we do have leaders... why are these leaders doing nothing? And, if these so-called leaders are indeed really leader, why are they not getting together collectively to change global outlooks?

Is this not what leader do?

Yes... yes... yes... you say this is exactly what leaders do and our leaders are in fact doing this but you have to remember, we are talking about the globe here and changing this is like changing some BIG SHIT diapers.... time... time... time... all of this takes time...

So, if we appear to be moving in the right direction then we must have LEADERSHIP.... BS...

I mean... I know I am not very smart ladies and gentlemen and I know that my elevator does not stop at all the floors and I know that I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but you are seriously expecting me to believe that all our GREAT GLOBAL LEADERS cannot do what organized crime has done?

Now, I would not perceived those people who manage organized crime to ever be considered leaders but these bosses have managed to unite the global community through the purchase of illegal drugs, illegal pornography, human trafficking, and illegal sales of weapons and firearms and have made billions in the process that they in turn use to finance our Global Leadership to fight one another.

So, who would you say are our true leader here?

What about our global military?

I mean we have some “kick ass” armies, navies, and air forces out there that are just dying to destroy and kill everyone in one massive bomb drop. Sure, we'd kill numerous civilians but hell they are being killed everyday anyway.

And, if all our civilized, affluent societies are so concerned about not killing, why are we letting so many people die of hunger each year? Now, that is what I call GLOBAL LEADERSHIP and guess what, we are doing that together whether we like it or not... how about them apples?

How many intellectually smart (if not brilliant) people do you think that we have employed at all our Colleges and Universities around the world? And, how much do you suppose it would cost to fly them to The Hague, Netherlands? And, how much do you suppose it would cost us to also fly all the members of the UN to The Hague, Netherlands as well?

So, while we are supposing all of this shit, let assume that Bill Gates will foot the bill for this venture.

Now, we tell all these people that they have 72 hour to solve this problem or else we will simultaneously set off nuclear explosions all over the globe in highly strategic positions that that we all have a collective opportunity to meet our Creator(s) first hand or not...

And... do ya wanna know what most of these invited people will say? “There is no way in hell that we can get this done... and, do you realize that there is no precedent for an action like this? I do not have anyone's opinion on which to base my comments and no textbook or other source to quote... you are expecting an impossible task out of me/us?”

Sad to say, but that type of response might just come from our Educators... but, even more ridiculous than that, our business and industry leaders would want us to show them the Government Regulation that might require them to go to all this trouble... plus they would want to bring their “bean counters” so that a cost/benefit analysis could be done to ascertain the impact on price per share, earning per share, and stockholder value.

The rest of those remaining in this prestigious group would first want sub-committees to have spent countless weeks perhaps years, exploring all the parameters of each and every line item of these issues so that estimates could be developed and projections be forecast as to whether or not this participation would impact their re-election possibilities.

Yes, I know this is ludicrous to even think about... but, that is my point... this has been going on for centuries and we are no closer to a cure than when we started which leads me to believe that our so-called leaders do not really want a solution only to be seen moving towards one, which therefore means that we have NO GLOBAL LEADERSHIP at all... not even in Rome...

Or, what would actually be more precise is that my idea will actually take place the day after the POPE gets married.

So, what we really have is a “free for all” just like the “food fights” we used to have in elementary school, except this time there will be no adults trying to stop us.
